Fixed Rate:

Allows you to "lock-in" your natural gas therm rate for one, two or three years! With the fixed rate, you will always know what your therm rate is, no matter what the market cost of gas is. This option is wonderful for those who enjoy budgeting their energy costs.

Variable Rate:

Allows you to always buy gas “at the market”. Because the wholesale price of gas is determined by trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), it is subject to change constantly. The Variable Rate follows the NYMEX, meaning that as the natural gas wholesale price fluctuates, so will your therm rate. This program is suitable for those that are risk averse! Another benefit of the Variable Rate is that you can convert to a Fixed Rate when you deem it worthwhile.
